Mimosa Absolute

Description

Extracted from the flowers of the shrub-like Acacia decurrens tree, Mimosa Absolute is cultivated and produced throughout much of France, though the tree has its origins in Australia. Powerful and complex, this absolute excels at rounding out the aromas of synthetic ingredients, most notably ionones. Mimosa’s aroma is soft yet penetrating, with a floral and honey-like sweetness that eventually gives way to woody and green undertones. Mimosa absolute’s viscosity also enhances its intense tenacity, greatly extending the lifetime of the floral fragrance blends it is used in.
