Onion Oil Pure

Description

Onion Oil is produced during the dehydration process used to create dried onion products from the bulbs of Allium cepa plants. As a source of natural sulfides, the oil is an incredibly important component of the flavor industry, providing savory notes to various soups and seasoning blends. This is where onion oil finds the majority of its usage, and the product is often added to other foods in which warm, spicy, and “biting” flavors are needed. Outside of flavor, onion oil is very rarely used, though it can contribute a strong character at very low levels when used in fruit profiles such as strawberry and guava.
