Orange Oil Valencia

Description

Orange is one of the most diverse botanicals across the entire spectrum of citrus, with dozens of regional, commercial, and seasonal varieties of fruit. Despite such diversity, only a few types of orange are actually used to produce commercial-quality essential oils, and Orange Oil Valencia is derived from one such fruit. Mainly produced in the US on the scale of millions of boxes per year, Valencia orange is instantly recognizable for its higher aldehyde content; a more prevalent quality than its “Midseason” counterpart. These aldehydes provide orange oil Valencia with a pleasant, slightly spicy aroma and flavor that remains popular throughout the flavor and fragrance industry.
