Almond Oil Bitter ex-Apricot

Description

Almond Oil Bitter Ex-Apricot is derived from the cold-pressed “cakes” of Prunus armeniaca seeds after their non-volatile components have been removed. Apricots are native to Central Asia, though they are extensively cultivated in many other countries including China, Europe, and North Africa. The aroma of this material is strong, sweet, and clean – composed of nearly 98% pure benzaldehyde, it possesses a very strong “cherry” odor and flavor. Almond Oil Bitter ex-Apricot becomes especially effective when paired with other natural cherry, almond, and pistachio profiles. In fragrance, Almond Oil Bitter ex-Apricot can add a robust sweetness to materials such as anise, lilac, and other fruity-florals.
