Black Spruce Oil

Description

Black Spruce Oil is steam-distilled from the needles and twigs of the Picea mariana tree, which grows throughout the northern United States. The oil has an extremely fresh and balsamic aroma, reminiscent of an evergreen forest on a crisp winter morning. As time goes on, this aroma transitions into a soft, warm, and woody dry down that is highly appealing. Black spruce is often considered milder and softer than other similar botanicals, such as pine and fir, which makes it ideal for use in earthy or “natural forest” fragrances.
