Description

Cassia Oil Vietnam is steam-distilled from the bark, leaves, and twigs of the Cinnamomum cassia tree, also known as “Chinese Cinnamon” or “Cassia-cinnamon.” Not to be confused with cinnamon bark oil, which is derived from a completely different location and botanical, this material imparts a strong, spicy, woody-sweet aroma that many consumers associate with “cinnamon” flavors and fragrances. Cassia is an especially potent ingredient when used in flavor formulations, as even small quantities can provide an intensely strong and tenacious sweet-spicy profile that is highly appealing. Its most common applications are baked goods, candies, beverages, liquors, and oral hygiene products.
