Description
Steam-distilled from the peels of lemons rather than extracted by the more typical cold-pressed methods, Lemon Oil Distilled has water white coloration and is remarkably drier than standard lemon oils. The aroma of this oil has a fresh, piney, citrusy top note heavily reminiscent of fresh lemons. This makes lemon oil distilled better suited to lemon-lime type flavorings, as well as citrus accords in fragrance that emphasize “freshness” over sweet or juicy notes. Lemon oil distilled is a common byproduct of the lemon juice industry.
