Description
Lemon Oil Washed is derived using a unique water/alcohol solution that extracts important aldehydes, ketones, and other useful materials from lemon terpenes. This process is known as “washing” and is fairly common for citrus materials with widespread flavor applications. Due to the removal of some aldehydes during the washing process, Lemon Oil Washed accentuates the piney freshness of lemon’s signature top note, rather than the citral-based sweetness that is typically associated with the fruit. For formulations designed to present a more well-rounded citrus character, Lemon Oil Washed presents a practical and cost-effective option. This product is functionally identical to standard Lemon Oil.
